Description:
MySql 5.6 CE, localhost3304 
Previously functioning MySql Workbench fatal error when connect button is pressed. Message is as follows:
The type initializer for 'HTMLRenderer.Util.FontUtils' threw an exception
Rebooted the computer, reinstalled Workbench, but fatal error persists

How to repeat:
Open Workbench Press on Connection, press Connect

Suggested fix:
No fix suggested
