Description:
When trying to start MySQL Notifier I receive the following error message:

"The type initializer for "MySQL.Utility.Classes.MySQLWorkbench.MySqlWorkbench" threw an exception
at MySQL.Utility.Classes.MySQLWorkbench.MySqlWorkbench.set_ExternalApplicationName(String value)
at MySql.Notifier.Notifier.InitializeMySqlWorkbenchStaticSettings()
at MySql.Notifier.Notifier..ctor()
at MySql.Notifier.NotifierApplicationContext..ctor()
at MySql.Notifier.Program.Main(String[] args)"

I cannot startup MySQL Workbench. Nothing happens when trying to start (the process is visible in the task manager but nothing more). Before, everything worked well. I do not recall what changed before the error occurred.

I tried deinstalling+deleting program folder+reinstalling according to http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?173,600464,604764#msg-604764 but no success

Thank you for your help.

How to repeat:
Run MySQL Notifier

Suggested fix:
None of the fixes found on bugs.mysql.com work (e.g. http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=75673)

Solution was to delete all files in \AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench
[12 Oct 2015 16:50] MySQL Verification Team
Then the issue resolved (a corrupt file on such folder and created again when application was started up again?). Thanks.
