Description:
Can't edit any table (catalog) structure. MySQL server is running on Linux RH 9. Server is version 5.0.2-alpha. Doesn't matter if the tables are INNODB or MyISAM:

Exact message is: Access violation at address 0034C1B0 in module libmysqlx.dll of address 00000000

I've also noticed that Navicat (6.1.9) can't alter/design any tables with the new version of mysql-server. Probably unrelated, but thought I'd mention.

How to repeat:
Could give you access to the DB. Try it for yourself?

Suggested fix:
No idea, but I believe that it's the interaction between 5.0.2 server version and mysql_adminstrator, not just the administrator.

I have exactly the SAME problem (since version 1.0.17 of MySQL Administrator...)
My server MySQL is v.5.0.2 and is installed on Linux machine running Fedora v.1.
The "funny" thing is that using SQLyog on a WinXP I can connect to MySQL server and edit right those tables which I cannot using MySQL Administrator for Windows...
I also tried to install rpm version of MySQL Administrator on my server Linux but experienced the same kind of crash...

I was able reproduce this error with MySQL server 5.0.2, but it works fine with 5.0.3-alpha-debug-log.
