Upon connecting to new local MySQL57 instance via named pipe, MySQL Workbench Unexpected Error: 
MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem
The type initializer for 'HtmlRenderer.Utils.FontsUtils' threw an exception.
We are sorry for the inconvenience...

Restarting workbench does not fix issue.

How to repeat:
Install MySQL Server (Developer configuration, named pipe) and MySQL Workbench, launch Workbench, provide password to DB, double click Local instance MySQL57 icon.

Suggested fix: Update installer to use fixed HtmlRenderer.dll from https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=75673
