Description:
I reinstalled my system and I was suprised that my Application doesn't worked any more (Programmed under Windows using Visual Basic 6.0 (SP6) and ADODB connection with MyODBC). I couldn't connect to the Database. Visual Basic allways showed an error: "Schwerwiegender Fehler" (means Serious Error in english). It wasn't the Server, and ADODB was the same Version as before.

I tried to connect over the network, to another host. I also installed a server local (first 5.0.2, then 4.1) but it didn't worked too.

So I tried to use an older Version of MyODBC. I used 3.51.10 (from 25-Oct-2004) and all worked! So it has to be a problem of the newest MyODBC Version.

How to repeat:
Maybe using MyODBC 3.51.10-2 with VB and ADODB.

I still can install the newer Version and repeat the problem.

Its Ok...

With VB6 SP6, WXP SP2 (Spanish Version) And MyODBC Connector/ODBC Version 3.51.10-2... the bug persists...

Could you please try with the latest released version 3.51.17 and return
the result you got?. Thanks in advance.
