Description:
My LINQ query which worked in Entity Framework 6.1.1 does not work in the latest version of Entity Framework. (I'm unclear at which version the LINQ query no longer functions).

I've confirmed this is related to the expression produced by EF, not because of a regression of MySQL's connector.

How to repeat:
I intend to update this ticket with some DDL scripts + a Linq query to repeat, however, I will include the output SQL from both of these statements in hopes that they might help determine where the issue is in EF.
