Description:
I am trying to install mysql-installer-web-community-5.6.25.0. I get an error that says visual studio 1.2.3 must be installed. I have visual studio 2013. What can I do to get this to work? I really want to learn MySQL. Guess I will have to use a different database. It shouldn't be tied to a version of Visual Studio.

How to repeat:
You install mysql-installer-web-community-5.6.25.0 with visual studio 2013.

Suggested fix:
It should not be tied to a certain version of Visual Studio.

Thank you for the report.
MySQL for Visual Studio provides access to MySQL objects and data using Microsoft Visual Studio, please opt setup type "Developer" which would install required things. Please see step by step guide here https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/mysql-installer-gui.html
