Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat on 3 machines running Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 so assuming a particular issue on your environment.

Any idea as to what my be in my environment that may cause this issue. Any specific setting in Workbench that may cause this "pasting" issue? As mentioned earlier, I am experiencing this on my 2 machines--Win 7 Pro desktop, and Win 8.1 Laptop. The MySQL installations are standalone installtions, independent of one another. Since they are separate machines, I am thinking it must be something in common with the installation of MySQL--perhaps some setting I am not aware of, or overlooked. Thank you very much for any ideas you may have.

I have been doing a lot of experimentation to try to isolate this problem, and have discovered that the problem occurs when I have a browser open (Chrome, Firefox, and/or Internet Explorer). If I shut the browser down, then I can "paste" and/or CTRL+V again. Open the browser, the "paste" and/or CTRL+V will not paste anything. This is only in Workbench, the browsers have no effect "pasting" to other apps. I know this is weird--I do not know how an internet browser and affect pasting into Workbench. So, I must leave it to the experts. Can you please shed any light on this weird happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
