Uninstalled then re-installed with no problem the second time

MySQL Verification Team
If you are doing a fresh install, then use Control Panel->Add/Remove programs and remove the current install. Go to the directory where it was installed and remove the whole directory (it will have probably the InnoDB files). Then try again and let us know what was the option used for the InnoDB path install in the case you get another install fails. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have already re-run the installer and removed the earlier installation and reinstalled it again. This time it worked fine. The Inno directory was on a different drive from the program install.
