This application requires the Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013. Please install the redistributable package and then run this installer again. See the online documentation for more details.
1: MySQL Fabric 1.5.3 & MySQL Utilities 1.5.3 2: {27DCB9A2-4DEC-4EEC-84D3-35701DB8B7EB} 3: 3

How to repeat:
Get the 32-bit installer:
http://cdn.mysql.com/Downloads/MySQLInstaller/mysql-installer-community-5.6.23.0.msi

Install as administrator.
Pick "Full" type.
Click on each installable option, and picked advanced options and
change beginning of each install path from C:\Program Files(86)\ to C:\bin\.

Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 is installed as part of prereq for Workbench. (and Workbench installs OK.)

Wait for install to complete, configure as usual.

Server & Workbench install and work as expected.

I can only "Add" Fabric & Utilities through the mysql-installer-community-5.6.23.0.msi tool.

Since the initial install fails, there is no option to "Upgrade" Fabric & Utilities.

Possible workaround: Download the standalone installer for Fabric & Utilities.
http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQLGUITools/mysql-utilities-1.5.4-win32.msi
The community installer does not fully recognize this version as being installed.

Get slightly updated installer: http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQLInstaller/mysql-installer-community-5.6.24.0.msi
SQL, Workbench & Connector/C are upgraded.

Add new products from latest installer works. :)

1: The action 'Install' for produt 'MySQL Fabric 1.5.4 & MySQL Utilities 1.5.4' completed successfully.

After that, Upgrade to 1.6.1 is available. (It upgraded to an "Alpha" level version. That was unexpected. Latest GA code was expected.)

This issue is 5.6.23.0 installer. Was not able to reproduce with 5.6.24.0 installer.

Thank you for the feedback. I was asked you to try new version because I was not able to repeat. Thanks.
