Description:
I have a log file dbase with 4 tables and 500K+ rows. I can't perform even the simplest select or upload stmts without it crashing. Msg reads: MySQL Workbench has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will clsoe the program and notify you if a solution is available." I'm essentially dead in the water at this point. I've attached the most recent log file. Hope you can help.

Here's my system definition:

MySQL Workbench Community (GPL) for Windows version 6.2.3 revision 12312 build 2280 (64 bit)
Configuration Directory: \\sjvls.org\users\Automation\kks6168\Application Data\MySQL\Workbench

Cairo Version: 1.10.2
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1
CPU: 8x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 8.0 GiB RAM
Active video adapter ATI Radeon HD 5450
Installed video RAM: 512 MB
Current video mode: 1920 x 1080 x 4294967296 colors
Used bit depth: 32
Driver version: 8.821.0.0
Installed display drivers: aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atiumdag,atidxx32,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll
Current user language: English (United States)

How to repeat:
Once MySQL WB crashes, I reopen/reconnect and try a different select stmt with same result. It crashes. For example: select * from log_file where system = 'kern' and date_time LIKE '2014-12-04%' LIMIT 100; shouldn't really be that taxing, but it still crashes. This became chronic today after I uploaded more than 300K records.

Thanks. I downloaded the version you suggested...and so far so good. Funny that the 6.3 version's 'check for updates' feature told me I had the latest update. Thanks again. k
