Description:
In fact, in our busy live system, building trigger solution may drop our performance. I am wondering why the max id would save permanently even instance restart; It doesn't make sense anyway. When will the bug fix available? This what I actually want.

How to repeat:
insert and delete records from a table then restart instance.

Please provide a test sample (create table with engine option, insert, delete) real result and expected result, please provide the complete server version 5.5.XX. Thanks.
