Description:
The mysql for excel plugin isn't showing up on the toolbar. It was showing up in com addins but not getting selected due to the error “The connected state of Office Add-ins registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed”.
I then :
1)Navigated to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ Outlook\Addins”.
2)Enabled the particular Add-in, set its “LoadBehavior” key to 1.

After setting the addin option in 'excel options' to com addin I could now check the box for mysql for excel and the status was showing as loaded. However the plugin still didnt come up in the toolbar and upon further opening Excel option->Addins ,I noticed that the addin option had automatically changed to excel addin. I installed it using the MySQL installer and the version is 1.3. Solution required !

How to repeat:
Dunno.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report Bug #74993 already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.
