This is for the documenation related to Bug #74445

When upgrading a slave to 5.6 the user on the master must have an post-4.1.1 password hash.

This should be documented on http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/replication-upgrade.html

Thanks for your feedback. The 5.6 documentation has been updated with the following at the page you suggested:
The replication user on the master must have a password hash generated by MySQL version 4.1.1 or newer due to changes in the hashing method. See Password Hashing in MySQL for more information.
