Description:
Hi,

The installer does auto-stop the service, but it doesn't auto-start it.
Could this be added?

How to repeat:
Install.

Somebody?

Please, check recent versions, 5.0.41-5.0.45. As far as I remember service is always started after upgrade.

Even if you do not run the config wizard (again)?

Now I've got your point. Thank you for a reasonable feature request.

Should I run the config wizard again? That doesn't make sense.

The MySQL Server Installer on Windows has superseded the config wizard in newer versions of MySQL Server. No enhancements are planned for the config wizard.
