Description:
Assumes multiple catalogs available.

When adding a new table to an EER diagram in Workbench tables are always added to the default catalog schema. Unless, that is, the user discovers the narrow bar that appears at the top of the diagram window which allows for selection of the appropriate catalog.

It is too easy to add a new table to the wrong schema then have to move, and possibly lose, it in the process.

Annoyances
========
1. Associating a diagram with a catalog (other than default) is not implemented very effectively. The diagram's properties should allow for the selection of a catalog other than default.

2. The narrow bar above the EER Diagram window showing the choice of catalogs is not prominent enough

3. the choice of catalog does not seem to be permanently associated with the diagram.

How to repeat:
Add multiple catalogs.

Create a diagram and all tables will be added to default catalog unless changed.

Create several diagrams and schemas and try to keep track of which diagram goes with which schema.

Suggested fix:
Allow for a catalog to be associated with a diagram 'permanently'.

Thank you for the report.
I'm able to see this issue on Win7 with 6.2.2.

Try the steps as provided by reporter

- Add multiple catalogs.
- Create a diagram and all tables will be added to default catalog unless changed.

- Create several diagrams and schema's and try to keep track of which diagram goes with which schema.

Thanks,
Umesh
