Description:
In the process of testing a 1.3.7 version windows installer containing c/net 6.9.3 GA package it was discovered that although the product installs successfully, it is refusing to come out again, either via the installer interface, or on its own via the control panel applet.

This prevents removal of both the connector package as well as the installer since the option to remove it is not provided. A lot of the attempted removal is attached to this report.

The system was a Server 2008 machine. There was a previous version of c/net installed during verification of a MySQL for Visual Studio package. That version was successfully removed along with the previous installer and all other packages.

How to repeat:
Install it via the windows installer and attempt to uninstall. Installing the MSI as a standalone might also suffice.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Connector/Net 6.9.6 release, and here's the changelog entry:

The uninstaller process would fail and not remove the connector.

Thank you for the bug report.
