is there anyway the support can troubleshoot from the log file provided?
i am not sure how to proceed..

I had this error. I couldn't open the Data Export function and the stack trace in the logs was the same. Theres a line in the logs provided above which is this:

05:30:39 [WRN][ grt]: /Users/admin/Library/Application Support/MySQL/Workbench/connections.xml:24: link '8FC28607-83FC-4C88-93AE-DF148195CCB4' <object GrtObject> key=owner could not be resolved

I closed Mysql Workbench, went and found this connections.xml file and renamed it.
When I reopenned Mysql this file was recreated and everything worked.

Note ~/Library directory is a hidden directory on the Mac.

If you want to make it visible you can open a terminal and execute this command

chflags nohidden ~/Library
(http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/qt/Os-X-Lion-Is-Hiding-Your-Library-Folder.htm)

I don't know why this stopped working in the first place (Not a Mac expert). I did encrypt my harddrive a few hours ago though.... This is very probably unrelated but someone smarter than me might know of a checksum or something this will effect)
