Imho - this is a valid request since most of the user(college students etc) use windows environment and use guest OS which are mostly 32bit OS etc due h/w limitations etc.. I see, we provided only 64bit WB binaries for Ubuntu Linux 14.04 See http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/ Ubuntu Linux 14.04 (x86, 64-bit), DEB 6.1.7 24.4M Download (mysql-workbench-community-6.1.7-1ubu1404-amd64.deb) MD5: 12167c7c4535c4177c8e0aac1d51ed50 | Signature Ubuntu Linux 12.04 (x86, 32-bit), DEB 6.1.7 25.6M Download (mysql-workbench-community-6.1.7-1ubu1204-i386.deb) MD5: 0e9aa106820560d17365cd07a30f11cc | Signature Ubuntu Linux 12.04 (x86, 64-bit), DEB 6.1.7 25.8M Download(mysql-workbench-community-6.1.7-1ubu1204-amd64.deb) MD5: 21bff1de514ba75de45f3cce978b8ec0 | Signature

Please provide 32 bit version. I can get 12.04 version working on 14.04

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.1.7 release, and here's the changelog entry: On Ubuntu Linux, the 32-bit build was discontinued. Ubuntu 32-bit users must now build from the source. Thank you for the bug report.

Why was this closed? Where are the 32-bit packages? The request is to have 32-bit package, not to document that no 32-bit package will be produced....
