Description:
Right clicking on a view and selecting "Alter View" has no effect. I can see the view, I can create a new view, and I can even run an alter view command from a query window within Workbench. If I create a new view within Workbench for the database, still nothing happens. If I try this for a different database, it does work, so it seems to be specific to the database.

How to repeat:
Right click on view, select "Alter View"

I figured out the problem. You can only alter view on a view where that database is set as the default schema.

Manoj Aggarwal thank you for posting this solution. It worked for me, after failing to figure it out on my own. +1 to you, my friend!!
