Description:
There is a dependency-problem in this release with the gal2-Package.
SuSE delivers gal2 in Version 2.2.2-3 without libgal-2.0.so.6 and libgal-a11y-2.0.so.6
You can downgrade gal2 to version 1.99.11-17 if you don't need Evolution or Multisync.
So the query-browser also works on SuSE 9.2 but with modifications.

How to repeat:
Install mysql-query-browser-1.1.3a-1.suse91.i586.rpm on a standard-system with SuSE Linux 9.2 including Evolution or Multisync.

Suggested fix:
Download the package "gal2-1.99.11-17.i586.rpm"
Uninstall Evolution/Multisync and make a downgrade of gal2 by installing the downloaded Package.
After that, mysql-query-browser should work fine.
There isn't any package for SuSE 9.2 available yet.

Any eta on when a package will be ready for SuSE 9.2?
I cannot use the work around because i use evolution.

I have created a new package of Query Browser 1.1.4, with release number 2. The package has libgal* statically linked in. It's now uploaded, but may take a while to spread to the mirrors. Please update/write in this bug report to confirm whether it has solved the problem.

Thank you for reporting the problem.

Just downloaded and installed mysql-query-browser-1.1.4-2.suse91.i586.rpm on SuSE 9.2
I haven't test functionality yet, but it installs and starts up correctly.
Thanks for the fast turnaround
