Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.1.6 release, and here's the changelog entry: Executing a Visual Explain would sometimes generate an error with the text "Error calling Python module function SQLIDEQueryAnalysis.visualExplain". Thank you for the bug report.

That's a frustrating error to encounter! I've definitely run into issues with Workbench before, usually when the query optimizer is doing something unexpected. Have you tried simplifying the query or breaking it down into smaller parts to see if you can isolate the problem area? It might also be a long shot, but sometimes a fresh start helps clear things up. Kinda like hitting the slopes and needing a run to clear your head, you know? If all else fails, maybe take a break and try out Snow Rider 3D for a bit of distraction before tackling it again. https://snowriderfree.com/
