According to Bug #69910 loginpaths are supported. But it's not documented on http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-enterprise-backup/3.9/en/connection-options.html

The login-path option has been added to the MySQL Enterprise Backup 3.9 and 3.10 manuals in the Connection Options section (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-enterprise-backup/3.9/en/connection-options.html, http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-enterprise-backup/3.10/en/connection-options.html)
