Thanks for reporting. Which server version are you using? It rather seems like a server issue, since we just display what comes back from the server. Do the messages work in the MySQL Command Line Client? Can you make sure your C:\Programme\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\share\german directory is there? Thanks.

I'm using MySQL-Server 4.1.7-nt. Yes the German as well as English error messages do appear in MySQL Command Line Client and directory C:\Programme\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\share\german is present.
