Description:
When I choose option language=german in my.ini (MySQL 4.1.7) then Query Browser does not show any error messages. Without language=german English errors messages correctly appear.

How to repeat:
Set option language=german in my.ini. Input some wrong command in Query Browser. There will be no error messages.

Thanks for reporting. Which server version are you using? It rather seems like a server issue, since we just display what comes back from the server.

Do the messages work in the MySQL Command Line Client? Can you make sure your C:\Programme\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\share\german directory is there?

Thanks.

I'm using MySQL-Server 4.1.7-nt.
Yes the German as well as English error messages do appear in MySQL Command Line Client and directory C:\Programme\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\share\german is present.
