Description:

Hi,

I just installed the latest MySQL db, 5.0.2 alpha. When connecting with MySQL Query browser 1.1.2, after a few seconds, Windows XP pops up an error message stating that 'mysqld-nt' caused a severe error and had to be shut down.
This behaviour also occurs when starting mysqld from the command prompt.

How to repeat:
Install MySQL 5.0.2 alpha on Windows XP
Install Query browser 1.1.2
connect using the query browser -> within 5 seconds windows XP throws an error message and mysql stops.
