  hmm,any fix for this?.i have try mysql v4.1.9,4.0.23a,4.0.22.none of them works :( also i have read http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=5343 .have tried all the fix available at that topic.still no luck.please mysql dev,make mysql version which only can compiled on cygwin

  I just made a successful compile of the client w/ latest version of cygwin and the source tarball for MySQL-4.1.12. Can you please make sure your cygwin is up to date, and use the MySQL-4.1.12 sources?
