Description:
Installed Workbench 6.0.8

When I try to click on Options File or Server Status, I get:

"Runtime Error: Unable to execute command chcp. Please make sure that the C:\Windows\System32 directory is in your path environment variable."

This directory is in my path variable.

Followed by

"Current Profile Has no WMI enabled" error. The posted work around, i.e. edit connection and save, does not work!!!

How to repeat:
Install Workbench 6.0.8.11354 build 833 on an 64-bit XP machine.

What happens if you run chcp from a cmd window?

If you have this error on chcp, a workaround is to copy chcp.com from c:\windows\system32 to the Workbench directory.

Copying chcp.com worked for me - wasted a ton of time searching for a resolution and no acknowledgement from the workbench team that this is indeed a BUG - boo!

Please try version 6.2.3. Thanks.

Copying chcp.com worked for me too

I'm not seeing this on Win7 with 6.3.3(dev build 6.3.4) builds. Please try with latest builds and let us know if you are still facing this issue.
If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

same issue...MySQL workbench reported the same error though the PATH variable contains C:\Windows\System32 directory. The issue is resolved by copying chcp.com file from system 32 directory to workbench directory.
