Tried the latest version on a brand new machine. This time I install the correct Visual C++ redistributable first. Still get the same results.

Thank you for the feedback. Please check if your rename the folder C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench\cache fix the issue. Thanks.

NO such folder exists. Appdata\romaing has only 3 folders Adobe, Microsoft and Oracle. The Oracle folder has on the notifier files
