I got the same problem. It was fine in the beginning, then it started suddenly after a few hours after installation. Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit, Workbench 6.0.7.11215 Community Edition

Seems to happen when you have extra dot (.) in the file name other than the extension, for example, MyFile.my.sql. After removing the extra dot (change to MyFile.sql), then the problem does not seem to happen.
