Description:
I am unable to start MYSQL Workbench 6.0.7.
I received an error when trying to save a simple one line query (unfortunately I cannot remember the error), and as I was unable to save the query I closed Workbench and reopened it.
After exiting and trying to restart I got an error "External component has thrown and exception" with the description "We are sorry for the inconvenience but an unexpected exception has been raised by one of the MySQL Workbench modules. In order to fix this issue we would kindly ask you to file a bug report. You can do that by pressing the [Report Bug] button below."

I tried a full uninstall and then tried reinstalling the Community Edition from the file mysql-installer-web-community-5.6.14.0.msi. During the check online for updates I got an error message advising could not connect to the remote server because of a proxy authentication error. I skipped the check then as I knew it was the latest version only to have it fail at the download section.
I went online and downloaded the full installer ~200 MB and installed the software and after it installed (Online check failed again) I tried to start Workbench and get the same error.
I can use the MYSQL 5.6 Command Line Client and connect to the database and run queries.
Any ideas?
