Description:
Hello,

After installing mysql .net connector version 6.7.4, and MySql for Visual studio 1.0.2, MySQL is not showing as a data provider when trying to add an ADO.NET model. Also, when trying to add a new connection under Server Explorer, MySQL shows as an option, but crashes after typing one letter in the server name textbox.

How to repeat:
Just try to install. Possibly making problems because I had .net connector 6.6.5 installed (not sure).

Hi, thanks for the bug report.

This issue is duplicated of

Long story made short, M4VS 1.0.2 is actually registering as provider (if Cnet 6.7.x was to register will break M4VS).
Since then, we have found a better fix, and things will work as usual in future release (Actually Connector/NET 6.8.0 already implements this fix).
