Description:
Just upgraded Workbench today. Had a previously-developed model open on an external monitor. Edited and saved several times. Finally clicked Close (X) box to exit, and got an error popup: "External component has thrown an exception". 

Note, this is not the first error reported after upgrading. Saw at least one prior error popup, while editing a table's properties, but I did not report a bug at that time. 

Note also: bug report function did not work. Said "Error accessing the bug system, please verify your email and password". I used the same email and password to log in to report this bug. I am pretty sure this has happened each time I wanted to report a bug (I have reported a few bugs already.)
