Description:
The menu item which used to be under "File->Export->Forward Engineer SQL ALTER Script" is no longer available in the latest version of MySQL workbench.

How to repeat:
Start the latest workbench open any model file and and view the menu. You don't see one

I've this problem too, now i've renamed the workbench 6.0 to workbench6.0 so i can reinstall the 5-version to continue my work.

That option in the Export menu was removed because it's redundant. Please use the Model -> Synchronize with Any command instead.

Thank you for the information. What you point to seems to have similar functionality. My quick tests points to a couple of bugs. I'll test more and file new bug reports.

I don't see 

Model --> Synchronize with Any Source

I do see 

Database  --> Synchronize with Any Source

I don't want developers anywhere near my DB without code reviews. I want MySQL Workbench to compare a model to a create script and produce an alter script, just like it use to. I liked the way it use to work.

Tried to use DB Synchronize , but the alter script is bass ackwards, and I don't want to make my model the destination.
