Description:
I have installed MySQL Administrator ver.1.015 and
MySQL QueryBrowser ver.1.1.2 on my Windows XP PRO SP2 system.
In the Tool menu of the Administrator the QueryBrowser is grayed (no
possible to select it). I have the same thing in the System Tray
Monitor: the QueryBrowser is grayed.
I have tried to uninstall both programs, clean the registry, install
the QueryBrowser before the Administrator and au contraire, but the
QueryBrowser remain grayed.

I have made the same type of installation on a Windows NT SP6 system
and this time the QueryBrowser is not grayed (I can select it).

Do you know why on NT system it's all OK, and on XP system not?

How to repeat:
Simply install both packages MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query Browser on a Windows XP PRO SP2 system.

Could you please check your registry and delete all old keys. It seems you have an old key

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MySQL AB\MySQL Query Browser 1.0]

make sure you only have

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MySQL AB\MySQL Query Browser 1.1]

and that the correct version/location is entered there.

This could happen if you don't deinstall 1.0 before installing 1.1.
