Some problems in the .DEB installation package available in dev.mysql.com/downloads.

It was noted that the postinst procedure is missing. The package form mysql.com unpacks the files in /opt, but does not generate the initial configurations that usually a Debian package downloaded from the official repository does. For this reason the settings after installation must be performed manually.

How to repeat:
Download the MySql Enterprise 5.6 .DEB installation package available in dev.mysql.com/downloads and use this command: sudo dpkg -i PACKAGE_NAME.deb

After instalation try to run the mysql server.

This was for the old deb packaging, which is no longer in use (though
technically the current packaging fixes the issue).
