Description:
Client: MySQL Workbench on Mac OS X 10.8.3
Server: Server version: 5.0.51a FreeBSD port: mysql-server-5.0.51a

Tried to edit a TEXT field in one row of an InnoDB table after it had been queried by the SQL Editor. After the queried rows appeared in the "resource 1" tab in the middle of the screen, I right-clicked on the field and chose "Open value in editor," then switched to the Text tab in the popup editor window. After adding a few lines of text, I hit the "Apply" button in the popup editor window. This resulted in a sudden crash of the Workbench.

How to repeat:
1) Query any data
2) right-click on a queried field and choose "Open Value in Editor"
3) Switch to the "Text" tab in the popup editor window.
4) Edit the text
5) Click the "Apply" button

Tested this scenario using the same Client on a different MySQL server, and there is no problem.
Server version: 5.6.10 MySQL Community Server (GPL) on a Fedora 14 host.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but the client is connecting to the Fedora host using SSL, as opposed to an unsecured connection to the FreeBSD host.
