Do you guys think it would be possible to add some wget-friendly links on the download page? Copying and pasting 
the download links into a terminal for wget results in downloading php content instead of the actual MySQL file. Makes 
it hard for those of us using terminal sessions.

I must agree - having an intermediate download page similar to the one that SourceForge are using would be 
beneficial.

Try to download a package from the download pages with wget

The links on the pick-a-mirror page work just fine with wget, as long as you quote them on the 
command line.
