Description:
I'm selecting "Create EER model from existing database." and selecting a database from my Amazon Web services MySQL schema. It connects and pulls in the schema information and tables, I leave ticked place imported objects on diagram.
No errors in show logs
However the diagram is not created. Instead the last page of the wizard is show (not on purpose, more like the screen hasn't refreshed). If I switch to another application and switch back, this application is then shown in the Diagram window.
The catalogue tree shows the tables and the Birds eye view shows a blue block.
If I try and drag a table from the catalogue tree into the diagram it asks me if it wants to duplicate it, so its seeing there are things in the diagram. It just looks like the screen refresh doesn't work. Same occurs if I try and add a new diagram and create a new diagram from nothing, manually adding in tables.

I'm running Window 7 Ultimate and 5.2.47 CE Revision 10398. I've tried un installing and re installing. I've also tried rebooting. Running on a standard Lenovo T61 laptop. No other applications experiencing graphics issues. Can send screen shots if required

How to repeat:
Happens every time I use it.

I've just found the cause. The EER model builder does not work under windows basic graphics theme. You must have windows Aero turned on. I can replicate and fix the issue by turning Aero on and off.

Reply - Sorry - I think our spam filter blocked your information request. I'm running Windows7 Ultimate on a standard T61 Lenovo, no dedicated graphics card.

Can you try starting WB with the -swrendering option? Also, does the diagram show OK if you just create one from scratch?
