Description:
If you highlight text in the SQL Editor window and run EXECUTE, only highlighted text is executed. But if you then run the EXPLAIN function with the same text highlighted,you received Error code 1064 if the non highlighted text has syntax errors.

How to repeat:
If you highlight text in the SQL Editor window and run EXECUTE, only highlighted text is executed. But if you then run the EXPLAIN function with the same text highlighted,you received Error code 1064 if the non highlighted text has syntax errors.

Suggested fix:
Change EXPLAIN to run against highlighted text
