Description:
With a fresh MSI install, one can choose a directory for binaries and another for data. When the MySQL service is launched, it immediately aborts if the choosen directories contain valid backslash escapes. For instance E:\Test\soft\...
\s is recognised as an escape sequence and the directory name is therefore invalid

How to repeat:
Just install current MySQL MSI for Windows in a directory with path containing "\s" (or other) escape sequence

Suggested fix:
Replace "\" by "/" on Windows like what is already done with the LOGS directory
