Description:
Hello,

I am running a Linux Suse 9.1 64 bits station and I can't run MySql query browser on it.
After entering the password, the software simply shuts down leaving the following
error message in the Shell window:

Strangely, MysqlAdmin works fine, I get the same GTK warnings but not the errors
messages. I have tried to install the libraries mentioned in the pre-requisite to
installation of mysql but it didn't change anything.

Is there a 64 bits version for mysql browser available somewhere ?
Can anybody help ? any suggestion ?

 Cheers,

 Cedric

How to repeat:
-Download mysql query browser 1.1.1.
-Install it on a Linux Suse 9.1 Distribution working a 64 bits platform.
-run the mysql-query-browser SHELL script available in the mysql-query-browser/bin directory from
a SHELL session.
-Enter the DB user password.
-get the error messages.

If run from the GUI, after entering the password, the software shuts and nothing happens.

Hi Cedric,

I have only tested the binary in 32bit, never in 64bit machines, so I'm not sure it would work at all.

I would recomment you to either try the generic .tar.gz binary or build the binary package from the provided src.rpm.
