Description:
Hi.

I cannot copy a row to clipboard anymore. I've tried restarting workbench, different connections, all 3 row copy functions.

When I try to copy field content, the same happens.

I get this error message after a workbench thinks a little:

Requested clipboard operation did not succeed

Caused by:
The awtToolkitWindow

How to repeat:
Copy row/field data in SQL Editor

I have been receiving the same message recently, however the copy still worked in that I could paste the data into Excel. Based on the last question about java applications I noticed that I had NetBeans 7.3.1 running when this error last occured. I quit NetBeans and I was able to copy the data without the error appearing. Restarting Netbeans did not cause the error to return however. I've been using Netbeans 7.3.1 and the SalesForce IDE based on Eclipse for a number of months and this problem doesn't always occur. So I'm not sure what the interaction is with java and if it's something that develops over time/usage.

I could not repeat this issue on latest GA version.
Also, version 5.2.47 is old and many bugs were fixed since. Please
upgrade to current version 6.1.6, try with it and inform us if problem still
exists.

This bug is among the top 3 results for Google search "mysql workbench requested clipboard operation did not succeed". It STILL happens in MySQL Workbench Community (GPL) for Windows version 6.3.9 CE build 10690321 (64 bit). It happens when right-clicking the query results and selecting options like Copy Row (*) and Copy Field (*).
