The 5.5 version of the documentation clearly indicates that this is NDB specific, the 5.6 version doesn't.

How to repeat:
Compare 5.5 and 5.6 docs.

A select * from information_schema.files returns nothing for both 5.5.30 and 5.6.10 (both without NDB).

This issue has already been handled as part of an ongoing expansion/upgrade of the 5.6 documentation to be published in the near future. I don't have a precise date for publication at this time. Thanks.
