Description:
MySQL, Exim and PostgreSQL shown down (red) in WHM after doing a simple Apache update and cPanel update (Release).

Restarted MySQL

DBI connect('mysql:localhost','root',...) failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) at /scripts/restartsrv_mysql line 75 mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "Warning, no valid mysql.sock file found.mysql has failed").

I ran /scripts/upcp --force
./updatenow
./fixeverything
Updated apache
/scripts/upcp --force

Still doesn't fix it.

I also switched to v3, and then back to v4. That fixed it momentarily until I restarted MySQL and then back to the error again.

#/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start

says nothing

Strange part is exim stats, postgresql and mysql are down. Mysql was working (so the rest also) at once but suddenly isn't and no one has touched the server to be honest. It must be somewhere the lines along cpanel screwing it up, as usual.

root@server [/etc/init.d]# ./mysql
Usage: ./mysql start|stop|restart
root@server [/etc/init.d]# ./mysql start
root@server [/etc/init.d]# ./mysql restart
./mysql: line 200: ./mysql: No such file or directory
./mysql: line 201: ./mysql: No such file or directory
root@server [/etc/init.d]#

Please give me a hand.

Specs:
Fedora Core 2
cPanel 9.9.8 R119

How to repeat:
Restart MySQL server in WHM (web host manager).
