This also occurs when trying to make changes to procedures. This did not occur in the previous version.

As a workaround, rename the column by changing it in the list view instead of the textfield below it.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.0.x release, and here's the changelog entry: On Mac OS X, a table name could not be changed via the "Alter Table" menu. Clicking "Apply" would report "No Changes detected". A workaround was to rename the column by changing it in the list view instead of the text field below it. Thank you for the bug report.

I'm having this problem with the latest update. I'm not sure if it existed before. I'm trying to add a new column and nothing. Also did a copy/paste of exist fields and tried to apply it nothing.

This happens in both mysql-workbench-community-6.0.9-win32 and mysql-workbench-community-6.0.8-win32

I am experience this problem as well. I am trying to add a column in both list view and in the table below. It is reporting that no change has been detected.
