Description: After configuring MySQL (at installing) I get the message "Unable to configure Service". In the list of services (task manager) the service mysql56 (see below) is present, but "stopped". My configurations: page 1/4: Config Type: Development machine TCP: enable; port 3306; open firewall; show advanced options page 2/4: MySQL-Root-password My username as "DB-admin" and password page 3/4: Windows Service Name: MySQL56 Run Windows Service as: Standard System Account page 4/4: no changes for advanced options (at "try again" not shown) After "Try again" "NT-AUTORITÄT\NETZWERKDIENST" was set as "Custom User" (without password) but with the remark: "The user doesn't have the minimum rights required to start the service"; the same at my username which is (local) admin for Windows. Both users have started other services! Please answer to erich.grassmann@web.de Thank you very much Erich Graßmann How to repeat: Please answer to erich.grassmann@web.de
