Description:
MySQL workbench doesn't respond.  Text in Query window is invisible.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version and have even gone back to 5.2.35 ans still get the same bug..

I suspect it could be something to do with screen resolution?

How to repeat:
Start MySQL workbench, open the connection, goes directly to NOT RESPONDING and hangs.

I have also gone back and deleted the files after an uninstall in the 
C:\Users\Sean\AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench folder and in the install folder to try and get a clean install.

I can confirm the bug on Windows 8 x64 on a Dell XPS.  It locks up on connect and goes into the not responding state.  I have an Nvidia card as well.

I can confirm this bug on MySQL Workbench Version 5.2.46 on Windows 8 Pro x64.

Workbench is freezing immediately after opening the Query Database view.

Managing Server instances and modelling works just fine.
