Description:
We have many bug reports claiming same error:

070921 10:28:40  InnoDB: Warning: purge reached the head of the history list,
InnoDB: but its length is still reported as 117021! Make a detailed bug
InnoDB: report, and post it to bugs.mysql.com

We can not repeat such bugs, because issue is somewhere in user environment.

Although in version 5.5 maximum size of purge list was increased to 2,000,000 from 20,000 it would be still interesting to find out why this happens.

So, please, add more debugging information, so people can start server with some option and we can finally find why this happens.
