Description:
Most elements not displayed in home screen. For example, in the Workspace section, the "SQL Development", "Data Modeling" and "Server Administration" titles display correctly with their icons and descriptions, but none of the items below them appear. For example, in the "SQL Development" section, none of the options "Open Connection to Start Querying", "New Connection", "Edit Table Data", "Edit SQL Script" or "Manage Connections" are displayed (icon, title, description, nothing), but these elements are definitely there, I mean, if I click in some of them the corresponding dialog appears. The same happens for the other elements in "Data Modeling" and "Server Administration" sections, and also for the connections I setup (the list box containing the connections displays blank).

How to repeat:
I just installed MySQL Workbench through Linux Mint 14 Nadia built-in Software Manager. I removed it and installed the latest *.deb from the repositories and the results were the same.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem.

Unfortunately we don't support that Linux Flavor.

Hint, Try to install all update/upgrade for Linux Mint 14, and download the new version of Workbench from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/ and give another try.

Thanks for interesting on Workbench!
