I got the same error when I create backup project and then try to delete it.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been committed to our source repository of that product and will be incorporated into the next release. If necessary, you can access the source repository and build the latest available version, including the bugfix, yourself. I've found that I can only back-up to a folder that is in the source like C:\MySQLbackup -> will work. C:\Documents and Settings\someUser\MySQLbackup -> will not work! I could not find that anywhere in the documentation, which, I found more explaining about MySQL commands then the program itself anyway.
